Global Process of Learning

Central to the emerging Bahá’í approach to development is a commitment to learning. Across diverse settings, experience is reflected upon, systematized, and shared through evolving institutional arrangements that connect local action with wider bodies of knowledge. Systematization of Learning illustrates how this process unfolds at local, national, and international levels, contributing to a growing body of knowledge about the application of spiritual principles in various fields of action.

Intrinsic to this process of learning is engagement in the wider discourses related to development. Individuals, organizations, and institutions participate in conversations at various levels of society, drawing on the insights of others while sharing lessons learned through action and reflection. Contributing to the Discourse on Development explores how the Bahá’í community, together with a growing number of collaborators, engages in such conversations, both learning from and contributing to evolving conceptions of development and social progress.
